We successfully delivered a Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system to an international automotive client. This highly integrated pre-installed millimeter-wave radar safety solution integrates blind spot detection, lane change assist, door opening warning, and rear-side collision warning, and is deeply customized to meet the pre-installed needs of modern commercial vehicles and passenger cars for enhanced active safety. The success of this project demonstrates our comprehensive capabilities in the field of automotive active safety electronics, from forward-looking design and sophisticated algorithms to automotive-grade manufacturing.
Client Requirements: The system needs to operate stably in all scenarios, including highways, urban areas, and stationary environments, effectively identifying various targets such as vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians, while minimizing false alarms.
• Functional Integration and Intelligence: The system needs to integrate multiple warning logics (such as tiered warnings and Time-of-Collision (TTC) algorithms) and intelligently link with vehicle turn signals and gear shift signals to provide intuitive and effective warnings. • Stringent Automotive Standards: Must meet OEM automotive-grade requirements such as wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, IP67 protection rating, electromagnetic interference resistance, and long-term vibration reliability.
• Convenient Integration and Installation: Provides complete system solutions (radar, indicator lights, wiring harnesses), with clearly defined installation procedures to facilitate efficient assembly and calibration by OEMs on the production line.

• Technical Collaboration and Requirements Freeze-up: In-depth discussions with the client's engineering team regarding functional definitions, performance indicators, and system interface protocols to create a customized product specification.
• System Design and Development: Completion of radar RF, antenna, and structural design, as well as development of core warning algorithms and logic software.
